Beijing is the capital of China as well as the historic, cultural, political
and economic center of China. It has a history of more than 3,000 years.
Beijing used to be the capitals of Yan Kindom of the States of Wars of about
2,500 years' ago; the capital of Liao Dynasty found in 960 A.D.;the capital of Jin Dynasty found in 1125;and in Ming Dynasty, Emperor Cheng Zhu moved the capital from Nanjing to Beijing; Qing Dynastery settled it's capital in Beijing in 1644 A.D.. The Great Wall is one of the Seven Miracles of the World. part of it was first built more than 3,000 years' ago, and in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.)it was connected from Sanhaiguan of Hebei Province to Jiayuguan of Gansu Province, with a length of 6,000 km.It was the only man-made wall which can be seen with our eyes from the Moon.

Xian is on of the six old capital cities of China. Since 1122 BC, eleven
dynasties were found here, from Western Zhou Dynasty to Qin Dynasty to
Tang Dynasty, and it lasted for about 1160 years. The Terro-cotta Warriors is called the Eighth Miracle of the world.

Labrang Monastery is one of the six most famous Yellow Hat Monasteries and was founded in 1709. It has six Buddhist Institutes, 48 Prayer Halls with statues of Buddha's attached with resident rooms of Living Buddha's, and more than 500 resident buildings of the monks. By 1950,there are more than 3424 monks here, among them there were 68 Living Buddha's. Here, if you come according to the time we given below, you will have very good chances to join the great religional Tibetan New Year ceremonies here and admire the most famous Lama Dancing and Sun Bath of Buddha Tangkas.

Sichuan is called the hometown of silks and Pandas. The ancient name of Sichuan is Shu, and Shu means the Kingdom of Silkworms. Here you will have a chance to visit the most famous and traditional Shu Embroidery Factory and see how the artists work on the silks in the traditional way. In Sichuan, you will also visit the greatest Sitting Buddha of the world, which is 71 meters high, and it was carved in Tang Dynasty, from 713 A.D. to 803 AD. Finally, you will have a chance to visit Mount Emeishan, which is one of the four most famous Buddhist Mountains in China. The elevation of Mount Emei is 3099 meters. And there used to be more than 60 monasteries in this mountain. And here we will visit the most famous Ten Thousand Monastery in this mountain. This monastery was founded in 401 AD. It was one of the oldest monasteries in China.

        Pagoda, Huaqign Poll.                   Overnight at Xian Hote
Day 5:Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors, the Great Mosque.Train Xian/Lanzhou.

Day 6: Arrive Lanzhou and transfer to Lanzhou Hotel for overnight.
      Visit local market and Five-spring Park in the afternoon.

Day11:(March 10,2001) The Lamas carry Buddha Metryer round the monastery.

Day12: Labrang to Lanzhou(280km)             Overnight at Lanzhou Hotel
Day13: (Flight)Lanzhou/Chengdu.              Overnight at Chengdu Hotel
Day14: (Bus)Chengdu/Leshan(176km):The greatest Grand Sitting Buddha.
                                               Overnight at Emei Hotel
Day15: Sightseeing Ten Thousand Monastery of Mount Emeishan.
                                               Overnight at Emei Hotel
Day16:(Bus)Drive back to Chengdu(176km)in the morning. Sightseeing Dufu's
Thatched Cottage, visit Sichuan Embroidery Factory and do some shopping in the afternoon.            Overnight at Chengdu Hotel
Day17: (Flight)leave Chengdu for Hong Kong or other places.  END OF TOUR
